Coffee, egg toasties, and a stable Wi-Fi connection are all you need to get your best work done at this Holly’s Cafe store in Kyoto!

Holly’s Cafe is a humble establishment with branches all across Japan’s Kansai region. In this article, I’ll be doing a quick review of my experience at the Fushimi store in Kyoto!
Ideal Work Setup

As a freelance writer, I love exploring new places to work that allow me to perform at my best while changing up the atmosphere. I was drawn to Holly’s Cafe when I saw the front window sign advertising their free Wi-Fi and charging ports for electronic devices.
Sure enough, that’s exactly what they offered when I went in and found my seat in the back corner of the store. While the main part of the store had a more casual vibe with people getting together and chatting, the area I found at the back was a lot more private with customers primarily working on something or enjoying alone time for themselves.
Delicious Food

Of course, the laptop-friendly setup wasn’t the only thing that drew me into the store, but also their delicious-looking menu!
Holly’s Cafe offers breakfast sets such as toasted egg sandwiches paired with a cup of coffee.
Basic as it may sound, the food was not only exceptionally affordable but quite a memorable meal in terms of taste and quality of ingredients.
The coffee wasn’t anything to write home about, but it did come in a rather large mug and was strong enough to help me get my tasks done!
Awesome Location!
Located in the popular Otesuji Shopping Street in Fushimi-Momoyama, this particular branch of Holly’s Cafe is super convenient.
A hustling and bustling street filled with shops, restaurants, cafes, and other niche services, Otesuji is a must-visit if you’re spending any length of time in Kyoto!
As a local resident, I spend much of my time here grocery shopping, training at the gym, dining at restaurants, or doing some writing at one of the cafes.
So whether you’re finishing up a session at Anytime Fitness or resting up after a long shopping streak, Holly’s Cafe stands out as the cafe of choice to re-energize yourself!
