Caramel Wich is Tokyo’s best cookie sandwich delicacy

Terra Confect’s “Caramel Wich” offers a sweet melty caramel chocolate filling sandwiched between scrumptious caramel-flavored cookies.

I recently reviewed The Maple Mania with their delicious maple butter cookies and felt inspired to introduce another tasty Tokyo treat! Another mouth-watering souvenir idea, Caramel Wich is brought to you by Terra Confect and is available in stores all over Tokyo, with headquarters in the uptown city of Ginza.

A Royal Wrapping

The wrapping is one of the best features of this treat for its smooth material and aesthetic golden color.

From the packaging alone, you know you’re in for a caramel carnival!

I also quite like the logo and font of the printed words, which give it a “royal” feeling of sorts.

A Cookie That’s Aesthetically Delicious

The aesthetics don’t end at the wrapping; the caramel cookie sandwich has a beautiful design that deserves some appreciation.

Again, the design is quite “royal” and reminds me of a chessboard theme (or something like that) with the letters “C” and “W” for “Caramel Wich.”

A smooth surface, aesthetic design, and aromatic caramel scent make you drool in anticipation for the first bite.

Melty Caramel Chocolate Filling

One bite of the scrumptious caramel cookie sandwich reveals a creamy caramel-chocolate filling that binds the cookie layers together.

Crunchy and gooey textures harmoniously combine to deliver the ultimate caramel and chocolate flavor that is iconic to the Caramel Wich.

Once again, Tokyo has utterly impressed me with its range of sweet souvenirs made with elite Japanese baking practices.
