C&C Cafe is serving up the best acai bowls in Kyoto!

In Kyoto’s city of Uji, a small and humble store called C&C Cafe is dedicated to consistently producing high-quality acai bowls.

Admittedly, I’ve never actually been to the C&C Cafe store in Uji, only because I’ve been really happy with their delivery service via Uber Eats! The acai bowls always arrive perfectly packaged and at the optimal temperature, making it one of my most ordered products on the app.

Chunky Frozen Fruit!

The variety of fruits in C&C Cafe’s acai bowls is truly impressive. Incorporating chunky pieces of strawberry, sliced banana, mango, and juicy blueberries, they really pack a punch! At the base is a cold and refreshing serving of acai berry purée which is a superfood rich in antioxidants as well as a small helping of Greek yogurt.

Nuts, Granola, and More!

The toppings are what make C&C Cafe’s acai bowls truly special.

No matter which type of acai bowl you order, it will come with shaved coconut bits, chocolate chips, hemp seeds, mixed nuts, and granola.

My personal favorite is the peanut butter acai bowl which includes a generous helping of thick and smooth peanut butter for that hit of unsaturated healthy fat!

Refreshing Smoothies!

Finally, C&C Cafe offers a wide variety of healthy smoothie drinks that you can order separately or bundle with your acai bowl.

Options for smoothie flavors include matcha, choco matcha, banana, oreo banana, mango, acai, blueberry, and my personal favorite, blueberry banana!

As someone who regularly trains at the gym and exercises a lot in general, C&C Cafe has been a Godsend for helping me stay energized and giving me the nutrients I need for effective muscle recovery.
