I recently stayed at the Centurion Sauna Rest & Stay during my visit to the Sapporo Snow Festival where I felt cozy warm away from the snow.
Luxury Capsules
For less than 10,000 yen (65 USD) per night, you can enjoy the luxury of this cozy accommodation in the heart of Sapporo.

This hostel has its own restaurant and cafe where you can enjoy comfortable sofa chairs, workspaces with Wi-Fi and charging ports, and of course, the delicious menu items offered in the kitchen!
From soul-warming curries to fried chicken and omurice, there is a solid selection of Japanese cuisine dishes.
For every night you stay at Ceturion Sauna & Rest, you get a drink ticket which allows you one free drink from the bar including soda, juice, tea, coffee, and more.
Sauna & Spa
Due to rules and regulations (and understandably so), I couldn’t take any photos of the sauna and spa, but I’d have to say they were easily the highlights of staying at this hostel! You get unlimited access to the hot Japanese-style public baths where you can unwind and feel your blood flowing again. It feels especially good after a day in the freezing cold snow of Sapporo!
Pachinko Room
Centurion Sauna & Rest also offers an entertainment room, though truthfully it’s just a bunch of pachinko machines (basically Japanese slot machines). However, they also have some cool vending machines where you can get microwavable foods like steamed cheese buns, yakitori (chicken skewers), and more. There’s also vending machines for drinks and ice cream!
Pure Relaxation
One of the best parts of Centurion Sauna & Stay is the quiet area where there are endless recliner chairs and sofa beds where you can rest, watch TV, use your devices, or take a nap! It’s great because you can bring drinks inside, just not food, making it an awesome place to chill with a cup of tea or coffee.
