In the heart of Kyoto is the hidden gem known as Coffee Bar PineBook where you can immerse yourself in books, coffee, and culture!

Japan has its fair share of interesting cafes, but this one definitely takes the cake when it comes to a memorable experience. Coffee Bar PineBook is located down the street from Kiyomizu-Gojo station along Kyoto’s Kamo River, offering a library-cafe hybrid setting with plenty of character!
Amazing Drinks Menu!

Honestly, the drinks at Coffee Bar PineBook are a real work of art!
In particular, the iced coffee selection which includes chocolate mocha and caramel latte are made with plenty of syrup and served in a fancy cup on a small wooden coaster.
Of course, the taste is rich in flavor too, and you get a nice hit of caffeine to energize you for your reading session!
Immersive Pop-Culture Setting
Even if you’re not a bookworm, the aesthetic of this cafe is an experience in itself.
It features a comfortable, homey vibe with wooden shelves and tables that hold stacks of books, manga comics, figurines, and other cool merchandise.
The atmosphere is that of a well-traveled Japanese citizen, with a predominantly Japanese pop-culture layout mixed with American icons like Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, and Batman.

Lose Yourself In A Good Book!

Indeed, there is an abundance of books, comics, and pop-culture figurines to explore at Coffee Bar PineBook, and the atmosphere is quiet enough to be a library, yet lively enough to be a café.
An amazing selection of books by reputable authors from Japan as well as the world at large, you may just get your hands on something special.
Okay, you can’t actually find my books at Coffee Bar PineBook, but you can certainly find them at the Amazon bookstore!
