The idea of a carbonated coffee beverage initially had me grossed out, but Tully’s Coffee’s new Fizzpresso drink proved me wrong!
The Best of Both Worlds!

It was a most intriguing discovery when I saw Tully’s Coffee offering a “Fizzpresso” option at a train station platform in Kyoto.
The first sip had me questioning everything, as it was a taste and texture that was very unfamiliar to me; in fact, my taste buds practically rejected it at first, if I’m being honest.
However, as I grew used to this new sensation, I started to appreciate the vast range of flavors and ingredients of this beverage.
It offers the buzz of sparkling carbonated soda, the bitter taste of black espresso, and the light, sweet, and sour flavor of lime juice.
The Power Rangers of Coffee
Tully’s Coffee is known for its wonderful cafe establishments all over Japan, but their bottled beverages are also enjoyed everywhere from supermarkets to convenience stores and vending machines.
With the addition of Fizzpresso, the lineup of Tully’s Coffee drinks is as wide and colorful as ever!
Personally, I think the lime tonic Fizzpresso is the best choice, because the hit of citrus complements the potent taste of the espresso and the fizzy impact of the carbonated soda, making for a most refreshing drink!

Available at Select Vending Machines

I first spotted Fizzpresso at this vending machine on the platform of Chushojima Station in Kyoto.
However, I’ve also spotted them at vending machines near sports complexes such as Nishi-Uji Park’s tennis courts.
While Tully’s Coffee is typically found anywhere that drinks can be bought, the Fizzpresso in particular seems to only be available at vending machines, so keep that in mind!
