A strange thing to write about perhaps, but the flavored sugar toppings from FAMIMA CAFÉ left a permanent mark in my bank of happy memories.
Delicious Flavored Sugar
FAMIMA CAFÉ is the name given to the hot beverage section of Japan’s FamilyMart convenience stores.
Offering all your favorite drinks from coffees to teas, hot chocolates, smoothies, and frappés, there’s something for everyone!
However, what truly separates FAMIMA CAFÉ from, say, 7-Eleven and Lawson coffees is their wide variety of flavored sugar toppings available!
Quality Caffe Latte
Choices of sugar flavors include vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, and my personal favorite, apple cinnamon!
Indeed, the apple cinnamon sugar was quite an ecstatic flavor that made this caffe latte so incredibly tasty I couldn’t believe it came from a convenience store’s coffee machine!
Of course, it helps that FamilyMart makes great coffees to begin with, but the combined taste of apple and cinnamon was a topping I never knew my lattes needed!

The motto “Famima’s coffee has clear & rich taste” couldn’t be more accurate!
I had the pleasure of experiencing this delicious apple cinnamon caffe latte at Kansai Airport on my way to Korea.
A sturdy takeaway cup with a patterned texture for a strong grip, I’ll never forget sipping on this hot and soothing FAMIMA CAFÉ beverage while gazing out at the planes taking off.
