Ginza Uniqlo is more than a clothing store, it’s an experience

In the heart of Tokyo’s Chuo ward is the iconic luxury shopping street of Ginza, home to the most magnificent Uniqlo you’ll ever see!

If 12 floors of clothing is not enough for you to find what you need, then the only thing you need is help. Jokes aside, the Ginza Uniqlo branch is by far the most impressive of its kind, offering unrivaled variety, unique features, and even a top-floor cafe with an amazing view!

Rotating Mannequins

Before even walking into the store, you can observe from the outside rows and rows of rotating mannequins at the windows of each floor.

Each is dressed in distinctively different colors that make them unique, or should I say, Uniqlo (I’ll walk myself out).

Normally, I’d say these rotating mannequins are pretty cool, but if you’ve watched the movie I Am Legend starring Will Smith, then you might not be so enthusiastic about them.

Incredible Variety!

There’s no doubt that Ginza Uniqlo’s layout and design are totally different from your average Uniqlo branch, featuring impressive and innovative ways of showcasing outfits.

The quality of the clothes is quite superb, albeit the standard Uniqlo level thereof, but when it comes to the sheer number of clothing choices you get, Ginza Uniqlo is unmatched!

As someone who has visited Uniqlo in Australia, I can confirm there were many items at this branch in Ginza that were unavailable in my home country, including a specific pair of comfortable, Japanese-style baggy sweatpants I bought!

Uniqlo Cafe

The Uniqlo Cafe on the 12th floor lets you enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and other little delicacies while enjoying a rooftop view of the Ginza shopping district.

Using its own special “Uniqlo brew,” this cafe has definitely made a name for itself, setting itself apart from all the other Uniqlo branches in the world and even standing out as its own independent coffee brewer.

Enjoying the view with a delicious Uniqlo iced coffee and biscuit was the perfect way to end a shopping spree and a long trek to the top floor, capping off a memorable day at Ginza!

Of course, if you are planning to visit Japan, you’ll need a way to get around the country as efficiently and affordably as possible. Japan Rail provides an abundance of travel passes to suit your travel needs. So whether you are traveling individually or as a group, the JR Pass is every traveler’s go-to for getting around and making the most of your time in Japan!
