Hostel Wasabi Asakusa offers affordable stays near Sensoji Temple

Clean, comfortable, and cheap are the 3 C’s of an amazing hostel experience! Hostel Wasabi Asakusa delivers all 3 C’s in an ideal location.

In the hub of Asakusa just around the corner from the famous Sensoji Temple and the beautiful Sumida River, Hostel Wasabi Asakusa offers cheap hostel stays in an ideal location.

Its English-speaking staff and even its very own café with Wi-Fi and charging ports make it a great choice for foreign guests who don’t speak Japanese.

Comfortable, Clean, Cheap!

I’ve stayed in my fair share of hostels across Japan, including Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Sapporo, and even Fukuoka!

Hostel Wasabi Asakusa is easily the most comfortable in terms of its bedding, blankets, and pillows of all the hostels I’ve stayed at.

I felt refreshed every single morning and ready to tackle another day of exploring Tokyo!

Japanese-Style Common Area

A floor dedicated to relaxation and hanging out, this Japanese-style lounge is ideal for both tourists and remote workers, with plenty of charging ports and great Wi-Fi networks available.

You can stretch your legs under the table, enjoy the traditional tatami mats, and even use the hot water device and microwave for your food and drinks!

Plenty of Books & Manga Comics!

It’s quite common to see a bookshelf in a hostel’s common area, but I particularly liked the selection of manga comics at Hostel Wasabi Asakusa.

Some of my favorite series such as Great Teacher Onizuka, One Piece, and Initial D were available, which I thought was a nice touch paying homage to the classics.

Admittedly and for whatever reason, the books were all in Thai, but I mostly enjoy the pictures when it comes to manga comics anyway (highly recommended for Thai folk!).

Unbeatable Location!

It truly is an incredible location in the heart of Asakusa! A short walk to the iconic Sensoji Temple where thousands of visitors come from all over the world to embrace the culture of traditional Tokyo.

It’s also near the Sumida River and the Tokyo Skytree Tower which lights up beautifully at night!

Of course, if you are planning to visit Japan, you’ll need a way to get around the country as efficiently and affordably as possible. Japan Rail provides an abundance of travel passes to suit your travel needs. So whether you are traveling individually or as a group, the JR Pass is every traveler’s go-to for getting around and making the most of your time in Japan!
