Featuring the creamy savory goodness of Kiri cheese and the sweet flavors of Lotte’s blueberry ice cream, it’s a pretty good hybrid flavor and a successful European-Asian collab!

Quite a popular flavor among Japanese cafe menus and convenience store goods, I thought I’d try this gâteau chocolate cookie ice cream from FamilyMart.
A soft, rich chocolate cookie sandwiching a generous helping of thick chocolate-coated chocolate ice cream and packed with bits of chocolate cookie all throughout. Now that’s a lot of chocolate!
Honestly a very rich dessert to come from a convenience store, and as usual, a level of quality akin to gourmet dessert menus!
CRUNKY Monaka Ice Cream
CRUNKY is a popular brand of crunchy chocolate products in Japan, similar to Crunch in the USA. Featuring rice crisps baked between layers of smooth milk chocolate, it’s a beloved brand in Japanese convenience stores and supermarkets.
This is combined with the classic monaka, which is typically a Japanese style dessert using two wafers and a red bean paste filling in between, except this the filling is vanilla ice cream and CRUNKY chocolate!
