The best protein-stacked meals at Japan’s 7-Eleven stores

If you’re looking to get a solid protein fix but have a tight budget, then these feeds from Japan’s 7-Eleven have you covered!

Japan’s 7-Eleven stores are home to high-quality foods and gourmet products that are nutritious, affordable, and just damn delicious! As a man who fancies a life of muscle-building, I’m always on the lookout for high-protein feeds. Check out these 7-Eleven items to help you reach your nutrition goals.

Chicken Cutlet Sandwich – 17.2g Protein

Japanese convenience stores are world-renowned for their variety of delicious sandwiches, iconically having the crust removed and using the softest white bread known to man.

Among the delicious egg sandwiches and obscure fruit sandwiches, you’ll find high-protein options such as the chicken cutlet with sauce.

Packed with 17.2 grams of protein, it provides a quick fix ideal for a post-gym snack that keeps your macros on point while keeping calories at a minimum.

Chicken & Egg Roll – 26.9g Protein

For a more hefty feed that could practically be a meal in itself is 7-Eleven’s chicken and egg roll.

Featuring sliced grilled chicken, boiled egg, vegetables, and marinated with chili sauce in a soft white bread roll, it’s exceptionally tasty and filling.

The best part is that it packs a whopping 26.9 grams of protein (talk about gains!).

Hamburger Steak Meal –

For a full-fledged meal to really bring it all home, I highly recommend the hamburger steak meal from Japan’s 7-Eleven stores.

This meal brings in the carbs alongside the protein while keeping fats to a minimum, giving you the muscle recovery while re-energizing you.

Featuring a ground beef patty covered in Demi-glacé sauce, mashed potato, pasta, and corn atop a bed of steamed rice, it’s the full package delivering around 30 grams of protein!
