The best protein feeds from Uber Eats Japan! (Kyoto edition)

I talked about the struggles of getting your protein fix in Japan in a previous article, but Uber Eats has made it so much easier!

Uber Eats in Japan is a different animal, giving you access to all the best Japanese and Western cuisines at affordable prices. Among such restaurants are a variety of high-protein options that you can order straight to your door. Whether you’re craving succulent chicken breast or marbled salmon sashimi, here are a few Uber Eats restaurants to try in Kyoto!

Protein-Packed Meat and Broccoli

By far the best high-protein low-carb Uber Eats restaurant in Kyoto will have to be “Protein-Packed Meat and Broccoli” (yes, that’s the actual name of the restaurant).

This outlet, located in Kyoto’s Fushimi ward, gives you access to meat and broccoli bowls, including grilled chicken breast and roast beef slices as protein choices.

They also provide protein information so you know how many grams you’re getting, with options going as high as 100 grams of protein in a single bowl!

NY Chicken Stand

NY Chicken Stand is an American-inspired fusion restaurant that features chicken and rice bowls with some light vegetables, soft-boiled eggs, and flavorful sauces.

It’s not quite as bare-bones protein as the previous restaurant, but if you can afford a little bit of tasty carbs with your meal, then it can be a wonderful choice!

Succulent Chicken & Hamburg from Gusto!

Last but not least is easily the most delicious high-protein restaurant on the list, and that’s Japan’s iconic Gusto! This is perhaps the most all-encompassing restaurant in Japan when it comes to including a wide range of cuisines. From Italian pastas to Japanese ramen, it has the lot! Better yet, there are a ton of protein options from grilled chicken breasts, seared salmon, and juicy hamburg steak!

With Uber Eats, staying on top of your protein goals is a breeze. Of course, you could also visit these restaurants in person or order for pick-up (might be a good way to save money). In any case, you can get all the information you need about these wonderful Kyoto restaurants and order or head there yourself using the Uber Eats app!
