The Butler Wharf cafe is a dream come true for chocolate lovers! Located in Sapporo’s Shiroi Koibito Park, it’s a great place to indulge.

During winter, Shiroi Koibito Park brings on a truly romantic atmosphere. Thick snow blankets the outdoors while Christmas lights and decorations hang on the balconies and around the buildings.
Butlers Wharf is a cafe that allows guests to escape the harsh winter weather and take refuge in a warm, ambient environment where they can indulge in extravagant desserts and savory foods.
Cozy, Creative Layout

A pretty interesting layout, to say the least, Butlers Wharf cafe has a variety of seating options from stools to chairs and center-piece benches. The floors, chairs, and tables are all made of wood, and there are exhibits of old-school toys through the glass cabinets. Another cool feature is the tables with built-in backgammon boards (viewing only).
Shiroi Koibito Drink

The Shiroi Koibito Drink, simple as its name is, offers a complex combination of drinkable chocolate, chocolate flakes, and Shiroi Koibito’s iconic shortbread biscuits.
It’s the most popular item at Butlers Wharf cafe, and quite frankly, deservedly so. Essentially, the Shiroi Koibito Drink is not so much a drink as it is a full on gourmet dessert meal!
You’ll definitely be needing that spoon to get through this jam-packed “drink,” but be sure to savor every moment!
Amazing Ice Cream Parfait
If you’re more of an ice cream person, you’ll love the chocolate parfait!
Featuring a “black forest” theme, so to speak, it comes with a glorious mixture of rich chocolate soft serve, fudge brownies, chocolate syrup, and sweet cherry sauce.
Another jam-packed gourmet dessert courtesy of Butlers Wharf cafe, you’ll love every second of this indulgent chocolate parfait!
