Unique menu items at Burger King Japan!

Burger King Japan offers a unique menu that puts a twist on the American favorite by giving more of a “kick” to its iconic burgers!

Like many classic American food chains here, Burger King Japan also has its unique menu items that are exclusive to the nation. Surprisingly, these items are not so “Japanesey” in that you’re not getting ebi shrimp or rice burgers like at MOS Burger, but rather just unique and daring flavors that could still be classified as “American.”

Same but Different!

Burger King Japan is the same as any other store around the world in offering staple items such as the classic Whopper Burger, french fries, and onion rings.

However, you’ll often find interesting takes on these whopper burgers that incorporate stronger sauces and ingredients for a more exhilarating taste sensation!

From the burgers to the snacks and even the drink options, there are unique items at Burger King Japan you simply won’t find elsewhere!

BBQ Chicken Wings!

In my most recent visit to a Burger King branch at Kyoto station, I was impressed by the sides and snacks menu on offer.

Perhaps it’s been a while, but from memory, Burger King was never a place that sold chicken wings!

These BBQ chicken wings were part of a “Texas” menu series that featured strong smokey flavors reminiscent of a classic Texan outdoor barbecue.

Cheesy Garlic Burger!

Moving onto the burgers, I can only describe Burger King Japan as being more “American” than America itself!

For instance, this cheesy garlic burger is absolutely oozing with golden American cheese melted to perfection and protruding through the peppered beef patties and buns.

Not to mention the abundance of ketchup and mayonnaise sauces to add to its already ridiculous levels of moist.

Now, I haven’t actually been to America, but these burgers from Burger King Japan definitely packed more of a punch than anything I’ve had in Australia!

Succulent Steak Filling!

Naturally, it’s not a true Texas throwback without shoving some juicy pieces of steak into a burger.

Burger King Japan pays homage to the cowboy country by offering this steakhouse burger featuring their classic beef patty topped with even more beef in the form of chunky steak pieces!

Marinated to perfection with delicious American barbecue sauce and mayo and you have a burger tasty enough to strengthen the bond between Japan and the USA.

Of course, if you are planning to visit Japan, you’ll need a way to get around the country as efficiently and affordably as possible. Japan Rail provides an abundance of travel passes to suit your travel needs. So whether you are traveling individually or as a group, the JR Pass is every traveler’s go-to for getting around and making the most of your time in Japan!
