Sukiya provides 24/7 access to delicious gyudon (beef bowl) sets

“Gyudon” (beef rice bowls) are the fast food of Japanese cuisine, but much healthier! Sukiya is the largest gyudon chain open 24 hours a day!

Sukiya’s motto is “save time, save money,” a philosophy they’ve stayed true to since their establishment in 1982. Serving up delicious rice bowls with an easy-to-order system and 24-hour availability, you’ll find a Sukiya around every corner, no matter where you are in Japan!

Cheap, Convenient Rice Bowl Sets

Sukiya is an introvert’s dream when it comes to ordering, providing touchscreen ordering systems at each table.

You can take as much time as you like to order and select from a variety of language settings too.

There is a large selection of beef rice bowls, beef plates, lunch sets, side dishes, drinks, and desserts to choose from!

After a gym workout, hitting up Sukiya is just what the muscles ordered, because you can enjoy as much protein as you need by ordering extra beef plates and tofu alongside your 500 yen (3.50 USD) gyudon!

Teishoku Breakfast Set

In addition to lunch and dinner sets, Sukiya also offers a Teishoku menu or “Japanese breakfast set.” Consisting of grilled salmon, pickled vegetables, miso soup, egg, natto beans, and steamed rice, it’s the most nutritious way to start the day!

Specialty Bowls

While Sukiya’s specialty is beef rice bowls, they also offer a range of other rice dishes that are beef-free.

Such options include chicken rice bowls, tofu bowls, unagi (eel) bowls, and tuna seafood bowls.

There are also curry dishes, noodle soups, and low-carb salad bowls to choose from.

The awesome thing about Sukiya’s rice bowls is that you can customize them to a tee like changing up the amount of meat, cutting down or buffing up the rice content, and adding toppings such as egg, cheese, and chili.

Other customizations include adding extra onion, increasing the amount of flavor broth in the sauce, or adding on a select side item at a discounted price.

If you can’t decide between two types of protein, there are options for half-and-half so you get the best of both worlds!

In this case, we opted for the half beef and half unagi option to enjoy Sukiya’s iconic gyudon while also trying grilled eel, a staple of Japanese cuisine.
